Swimming Lessons

Avery started swimming lessons a few weeks ago. She does such a great job and I LOVE helping to teach her how to swim. She is such a water baby. I think she is a natural.

Avery's First Christmas

I know I'm about a month late with this post, but I figure, "better late than never!" Avery had a wonderful first Christmas; it even snowed for her! Avery was a little overwhelmed by all the people wanting to hold her and play, but she was a trooper. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in St. Louis and headed back to Columbia on Christmas Day so we could have our own family Christmas Eve and day, even if it was a day late. We figured Avery would never know the difference.

Of course Avery was spoiled by all her relatives. Grandpa Greene even built her a big toybox. It will be perfect to hold all of her toys that have taken over our house.

Luke, Avery and I had a really nice family Christmas in Columbia. Luke could hardly wait to open up presents on Christmas morning. He wasn't very happy that I made him put Avery's big toy together before he could open up any of his gifts. Of course, Luke spoiled me for Christmas. He bought me a new bike, but now thinks I need to start racing. He can keep wishing.
